FAQ
Who manufactures your products? Our products are made in-house, not outsourced to a third party. We take pride in crafting all of our unique products by hand and in small batches.
Where are your products made? The majority of our products are produced in our skincare kitchen in Ensenada, Baja California, Mexico. For clients located outside of Mexico, some products are created in our skincare kitchen in Phoenix, Arizona, USA.
How do you scent and color your products? Our products are scented and colored exclusively with natural plant-based ingredients, such as essential oils, resins, and plant infusions. We do not use any artificial colors or scents.
How do you source your ingredients? We source many of our raw materials from regional farmers, including Flora Farms in San Jose del Cabo. Most of our herbs, honey, beeswax, coconut oil, cocoa powder, aloe vera, and other ingredients are regionally sourced as well.
What is the shelf life of your products? Since we avoid using petroleum-based or unnatural and harmful preservatives (see the last FAQ below for reasons why), we recommend using our products within six months to ensure freshness.
How do I place a large order for a wedding or event? Please contact us with your requirements, and we will be happy to assist you.
Do you offer wholesale opportunities? Currently, we do not offer wholesale, but we are open to exploring unique proposals. If you are interested in becoming a Santo Cabo reseller, please get in touch with us.
What are the benefits of your products compared to others? Established in 2009, our focus has been on recognizing the vital role skincare plays in our client's overall well-being. As the largest organ in the body, your skin absorbs chemicals and ingredients it encounters, distributing them internally, including into your bloodstream, your nervous system and beyond. The substances your skin absorbs can be either beneficial or harmful, depending on your choices. Our mission is to provide your and our valued clients with the healthiest skincare options available.
It's essential to remember that certain ingredients in mainstream skincare products could carry health risks. We urge you and all our clients to research and become knowledgeable about potentially harmful ingredients and avoid them whenever feasible. Some of the most concerning ingredients include:
- Parabens
- Phthalates
- Sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS) and sodium laureth sulfate (SLES)
- Synthetic fragrances
- Formaldehyde
- Oxybenzone
- Triclosan
- Plus many more.
To prioritize your health and well-being, we advise you to carefully examine the ingredient lists of your skincare products and avoid those potentially harmful substances as much as possible. Opt for natural, non-toxic alternatives, such as our Santo Cabo line, which nurtures and safeguards your skin without subjecting you to unnecessary risks.
